Toyota Motor Philippines Corporation (TMPC), the country’s leading automotive company, is set to introduce the improved line up of its International Innovative Multipurpose Vehicles (IMV). This is composed of the Hilux pick-up truck, Fortuner compact sport utility vehicle (SUV), and Innova multipurpose vehicle (MPV). Toyota’s improvement of the IMV aims to further strengthen the company’s number one position in the Commercial Vehicle segment.

The country’s top-selling Commercial Vehicle, the Innova, offers more convenience with an automatic up/ down Power Driver Window for grades E, G, and V. On the other hand, the basic J variant now comes with a Driver’s Airbag and a 4 spoke steering wheel. More color selections are also now available - Bronze Mica Metallic is offered for the G and V grades and Jade Green Metallic for the E and G grades.


The Hilux, the country’s highest selling pick up, enhances its current line up with improvements for the G, E, and J variants. The 4X4 and 4X2 G grades both now have and Automatic Up/ Down Power Driver Window and 16” wheels. The 4X2 E grade now has better clearance and boasts of a tougher look with a taller frame, similar to the boldness of the 4X4 G grade. This is further complemented by an Automatic Up/ Down Power Driver Window, 16” wheels, Driver’s Airbag, Seatbelt Warning, 4 Spoke Steering Wheel, Power Doorlocks, and Front Fog Lamps. The 4X2 J improves safety with Driver’s Airbag and Seatbelt warning system.

The new Fortuner’s comfort is ensured with its Double Wishbone Front Suspension System. Convenience is also prioritized with an Automatic Up/ Down Power Driver Window for all variants. The 3.0 4x4 V Diesel grade, with Automatic Transmission, also comes with a 6 Way Power Driver’s Seat and Power Retractable Windows. A new variant, the 2.5 G Diesel with Manual Transmission, is now offered for more options.
