Nissan Iloilo (S & J Motors), Inc. has been awarded the Philippine Global NSSW Award winner for 2010, the highest accolade for dealers in NISSAN’s Sales and Service Way (NSSW).

In a formal awarding ceremony held recently at the dealership in Jaro, Iloilo City, NMPI Senior Vice-President for Marketing, Sales and After-Sales and Administration and Corporate Planning Division Val de Leon presented the trophy to Virginia Segovia, dealer principal of Nissan Iloilo.

The Global NSSW award, awarded annually, is based on the trust of customers, high levels of customer satisfaction, outstanding customer handling and an attractive retail environment. The award scheme is designed to recognize top-performing dealers who excel in these areas, while running a profitable business.

In his congratulatory video message, Nissan President and CEO Carlos Ghosn expressed his appreciation for the winners worldwide, including Nissan Iloilo, which focused their efforts and established the highest level of quality, even though the past year was extremely challenging.

“Nissan is committed to quality leadership in the global automotive industry, and sales and service quality is critical to that commitment,” Ghosn said. “The expectations of customers are becoming increasingly sophisticated and demanding day by day. We rely on you to serve our customers well, and support the long-term growth of the strengths of our business and brand.”

The Nissan Iloilo dealership team, under the leadership of Customer Service advocate Mrs. Segovia, is extremely proud to have won the highly acclaimed award. “I wholeheartedly accept the 2010 Global NSSW Award for Nissan Iloilo, and pledge to continue the essence of this recognition by living it out and being consistent in bringing it down to the team member of our dealership,” Mrs. Segovia said. “Our being generally compliant in what is required of us by Nissan in the Philippines is already an advocacy fully ingrained in my family, and we commit to make our employees appreciate and realize this in our day to day manner of running the dealership.”

While this is the first time that Nissan Iloilo received the Global NSSW Award, the dealership is not new to commendations for its sales performance, after-sales service and customer satisfaction achievements. It was also awarded by the Department of Trade and Industry as an Accredited Five-Star “A” Automotive Shop.
