In warmly welcoming the new year, Honda Cars Philippines, Inc. refreshes its color selection by offering Urban Titanium hue to its 2011 City and Civic models. Initially available in CR-V units only, the market’s thriving acceptance towards Urban Titanium has led its introduction to other equally-loved models.

Titanium is a precious metal that has several commercial and industrial uses due to its lightweight yet strong and resilient qualities. These unique characteristics precisely make it regarded with premium and exclusive value. Thus, it comes no surprise why titanium is the favored material for the finest and technologically advanced luxury in the market.

“Using titanium’s color cleverly complements the high quality, durability and advanced features that Honda vehicles are known for. Urban Titanium color is on the beige and brown range with a touch of silver. Encased in a cutting-edge, arrowshot form design styling, the City is capable of delivering maximum power output of 120 ps at 6600 rpm and 100 ps at 6000 rpm for 1.5 liter and 1.3 liter variants, respectively. It is also the only one in its class to be equipped with a race-inspired paddle shift (1.5 E only) to deliver spirited driving pleasure of a manual transmission without the clutch. In enhancing fuel efficiency, it comes with a class-leading 5-speed automatic transmission that also helps reduce engine stress. Fun and easy tracking of one’s fuel consumption is made possible with its fuel economy meter located in the liquid crystal display of the instrument panel. This feature comes in very handy in the midst of unstable fuel prices. For an enjoyable ride experience, the City provides high sound quality with its integrated Flex Audio System that is specially designed for digital media.
