Following the debut of the country’s first hybrid vehicle, the Prius, Toyota Motor Philippines Corporation (TMPC), made their commitment declaration for the environment. As the world’s first mass-produced eco-friendly car, the Prius is a symbol of Toyota’s integrated efforts towards creating a better future by giving motorist an option to drive with less fuel consumption, less harmful emissions, using a product made of recycled and environment-safe materials. “As we move towards one world, one future, we learn that there is no one solution to all of Earth’s problems. And we cannot do it alone. We need your help to make that dream come true. Everyone can do their share, everyone can make their first move. YOU DON’T NEED TO OWN A PRIUS TO DO A PRIUS, if you believe in what it stands for. Together we can make the world greener, one Prius at a time. TOGETHER, WE PRIUS,” expressed TMP President Hiroshi Ito, as he heads the Eco Pledge Ceremony together with other TMP key executives, (From Left to Right) Mr. Yuji Goto, EVP; Dr. David Go, Senior EVP; Mr. Daniel Isla, First VP for Marketing; Mr. Raymond Rodriguez; FVP for Vehicle Sales Operations.
